When operation BOBST Vision 160 flat die cutter,we will make according below:

Pre-start inspection: Pls be always check for loose tools or debris on the feed table and inside the stripping station. Ensure all safety guards and light curtains are functional.

Sheet alignment: Maintain proper sheet squareness and size (max. 1600 mm width). Skewed sheets can damage the platen and cutting tools.

Tooling condition: Inspect cutting and creasing dies for wear or nicks before mounting. Dull tools cause jams and overstress the toggle drive.

Pressure settings: Gradually adjust cutting pressure; never exceed the machine's rated tonnage. Too much pressure cracks the platen or breaks dies.

Material limits: Do not run warped, wet, or excessively thick board – it may cause misfeeds or strip jams.

During operation: Keep hands away from the cutting zone. Use the emergency stop immediately if unusual noise or vibration occurs.

After shutdown: Clean dust and waste scraps. Lubricate moving parts as per the BOBST manual.

Failure to follow these steps risks machine damage, poor cut quality, or operator injury. Always refer to the official BOBST safety guide.
