Installing a used Bobst Vision 160 requires rigorous preparation. Due to prior wear, you must prioritize safety, alignment, and system verification before production.
1. Pre-Installation & Mechanical Inspection
Before powering on, perform a "production worthiness" assessment. Inspect the main shaft, bearings, and the lower platen drive for unusual wear or play. Because the machine is second-hand, check the gripper bar chain for elongation and inspect all safety clutch mechanisms. Verify the foundation is level to prevent twisting the main frame.
2. Electrical & Pneumatic Hookup
