The carrying belt connects each unit, and the ink roll and plate cylinder can be elevated approximately 100 mm above the sheet pass line. Even when the machine is operating, the plate cylinder of the inactive printers can be raised to change the printing plate or get ready for the next order. It minimizes the amount of effort and drastically cuts down on setup time.
The die cutting is done with a "soft cut" serrated blade, and urethane is used to surround the anvil. This works well to keep air vent scraps out of fruit and vegetable boxes. It can operate at high speeds and generate large quantities, something that press die cutters find challenging. The dispersion of scraps has also been improved.
