When installation our used Marquip Ward United five-color bottom-printing slotter die cutter inline casemaker,pls according to following :
1. Foundation and leveling – Ensure the concrete floor meets load specifications (typically 5,000+ psi). Use precision leveling mounts and check frame twist with a laser level. Uneven foundations cause registration errors and premature gear wear.
2.Pre-installation inspection – Thoroughly inspect all gears, bearings, and printing units for wear or prior damage. Perform a dry run at low speed before hard mounting. Check electrical panels for corrosion, loose terminals, and aged wiring.
3.Alignment of inline sections – Bottom-printing units, slotter, die cutter, folder, and gluer must align perfectly. Misalignment creates sheet jams, poor folding, and scrap. Use laser alignment tools and follow Marquip's sequence tolerances.
4.Ancillary requirements – Verify adequate compressed air (dry and filtered), electrical supply (voltage/frequency matching nameplate), and exhaust ventilation for inks and wash-up solvents.
5.Safety systems – Test all emergency stops, guards, and light curtains. Old safety relays may need replacement to meet current local codes. Never bypass interlocks.
6.Operator training – Schedule factory or third-party training for setup, maintenance, and emergency procedures. Inexperienced operation of used equipment risks injury and damage.
7.Spare parts readiness – Before start-up, stock critical wear items (blades, slotting heads, drive belts, sensors). Old machines may have obsolete components; verify parts availability beforehand.
