Installation Guidelines for Used Bobst SP 106-E ：
First, takes careful preparation and technical discipline to install a used SP 106-E correctly.
Check the floor's strength first. The machine weighs between 12 and 14 tons. The concrete slab needs to be completely level, reinforced, and at least 200 mm thick. and stop resonance transfer to the building, place vibration-damping pads beneath mounting feet.
Second, make sure that need enough clearance. For emergency escape, sheet stacking, and maintenance access, provide at least 1.5 meters on each side. Clearance for overhead cranes or hoists used during positioning is necessary due to the machine's height (about 2.1 meters).
Third, only qualified individuals are allowed to install electrical systems. Usually, the SP 106-E needs 380–480V three-phase AC with an earth ground and a dedicated breaker. Before turning on, check the phase rotation; a reversed rotation could harm the hydraulic pump or primary drive motor. Near the operator station, install an emergency power-off switch.
Fourth, compressed air needs to be dry, clean, and controlled between 6 and 7 bar. Install a coalescing filter to eliminate oil mist in addition to the main line filter-regulator-lubricator unit. Misfeeds and early pneumatic clutch wear are caused by dirty air.
Fifth, check for cracks or chafing in any wire harnesses, hydraulic hoses, and safety interlocks before reassembling a secondhand machine. All worn feed wheels and belts should be replaced.
Finally, after leveling and anchoring, run a dry cycle without tools for 30 minutes while checking for unusual noise, oil leaks, or overheating. After that, install the cutting die and use scrap board to make test cuts. Bobst's official lifting and rigging diagrams should always be followed.
